The level Coordinator of 100 Library and Information Science Bayero University Kano, Dr. Hauwa S. Ahmad, has advised the Library and information science students to be a good ambassadors of Bayero university Kano.
Dr. Hauwa S. Ahmad stated this in her message to the Library and Information Science students who organized the Iftar break on Thursday at the education department building.
Earlier speaking, the class representative Saleh Isah, said the Iftar event was organized to expressed their happiness over the victory on their first semester examination result.
"We thanks the Almighty God for given us the opportunity to hold this event, our intention is to show our gesture to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'alah for having good grades in our first semester examination" Saleh Isah said.
He also urged the class members to emulate this kind of gesture even after this holy month of Ramadan, becouse it will help to Unite.
On his part the assistance class rep Muneeruddeen Othman, said the Iftar gathered more than two hundreds members of LIS Classes including the other departments colleagues.
Muneeruddeen Othman, also called on the LIS Students and the entire Muslims Ummah to have clear intention in all their actions.
"If you deed everythings for God's sake, Allah will reward you, so we should just try and make everything for God's, and faster unity among ourselves." Othman said.
The Iftar Programme was attended by the level 100 to 400 students from differents departments.
